Magil Construction Group, Mott Electric and Axis Technical Services were key collaborators on the Pacific Blue Cross Building located on Canada Way in Burnaby, BC.

The PacBlue cable installation and the termination project commenced August 2016 with a scheduled completion set for July 2017.
The scope of the project and challenges included working within a tight schedule and a fast-track turn-around to complete six floors of the Pacific Blue Cross Building with over 600 cables per floor. Floor-by-floor installations are far more challenging and time consuming due to the critical coordination of the “move in” activities with regard to furniture and equipment.
To ensure the utmost health and safety of all stakeholders, the construction area needed to be segmented control the noise and dust particles during the office work hours.
AxisTech installed a Panduit / General Certified cable solution for copper and fibre-optic with a 25 year warranty. Axis Technical Services has been a certified installer of Panduit fibre-optic cabling for the past five years.
