ATS was engaged by an established electrical contractor in the GVRD to provide Fibre Optic cable installation expertise for a Run-of-River project.
The remote outside plant Run-of-River hydroelectricity (ROR) project at Box Canyon required on the reel fibre testing, fusion splicing and end to end performance certification. One of the main components of the success of this Rush project was the adaptation of onsite materials while utilizing specialized enclosures to complete the installation. ATS quickly air shipped the required electrical components and implemented a compatibility plan to ensure the scope of the installation met all the critical criteria.
