As part of a specialized team, which includes Status Electrical, the Axis Group of Companies (AGC) is collaborating on the delivery of a large scale CCTV upgrade at Metrotown, Burnaby, BC. The teams depth of experience in providing real-time surveillance and security within a challenging public space will allow Translink to provide increased security enhancements. The existing equipment of Metrotown transportation hub will be upgraded with a technology-forward security system and infrastructure cabling will improve the image quality, functionality and accessibly for the Translink team and in-turn also heighten customer safety.
According to Translink.ca; the purpose of the Translink Metrotown Station and Exchange Upgrades are to increase capacity and improving accessibility, customer amenity and community integration. The upgrades will provide additional opportunities to make improvements to customer safety inside the station.
The state-of-the-art systems include Bosch CCTV cameras, IndigoVision Software and Network Video Recorders (NVR) for data storage and faster real-time monitoring.
